    4 months postpartum
    I'm 4 months postpartum and I have a strange lower abdominal pain. My husband and I have been using the pullout method and I stopped using because because it was causing extremely painful breakouts and I'm waiting on new because. Can I be pregnant? Or what could cause this pain?

    Any time you have sex, protected or not, can cause a pregnancy. Im sure you know the "pull out" method is VERY unreliable.

    When is your next post-pregnancy visit with the Doctor? If you don't want another pregnancy right now you will have to find a method of birth control that works for you and the Doctor is the place to start looking.

    I'd call the Doctor and ask. You could have an infection, you could be pregnant, it could be something else.
