What is owed
My current boyfriend has a joint credit card with is ex that has about $3000.00 tag attached to it.
My question is he is paying half of the payment, but she has kept the two major items on the bill, a Laptop and Tv. He has an Ipad and some games.
Is he responsible to pay these items even though she kept them? Or can he just pay his balance total of the Ipad and games?
The card is in her name not his he's just a signer I believe cause she didn't have credit?

He is a borrower listed on the card. Therefore he is responsible for the debt.

Were they married? If so, who gets what would be handled during the divorce proceedings. Other then that, it's their debt, and he's responsible for his half.

This is a issue, to the credit card company they both owe the total amount, and if she would not pay, they could and would come after him for full payment of the entire debt, not just half of it.
He would need to find and list every item that was charged to the credit card during that time, and then list who paid what. And then that should show who actually owed what, if they went to court to sue each other.
But honestly no one has all of those reciepts most likely if there are food, gas and other items beyond a few large items listed.
Also unless they have closed the account, someone could even charge new things to the account today, and he would still be liable for it since he would still own the account and the debt. ( owe it as to the credit card company being able to sue him)
So I will assume he and his ex have cut up the credit cards and closed the account for future charges
