Ontario law, how to fight against warrant issued?
I did a very horrible and unexplainable thing when under the influence of way too much alcohol and stress. A terrible dispute between my boyfriend and I ended when I call the police and accused him of hitting me. I later call them back 2 days after explaining I was wrong and it was not true. However, a warrant is still being issued due to the officers use of reasonable grounds. How the F*** do I fix this??

    Regrettable *****.

    You can't

He will be arrested, and will need to post bond, then the DA will do more investigation ( maybe) and you will testify in court if it goes that far.

Note, that it is so common that a partner will want to drop charges in a day or two afterwards, the police can arrest and even have to arrest in most US states, if there is any evidence of such abuse.

So was there anything that was broken or signs of the abuse ? They can even convict him, since often the court will believe you are now lying, merely feeling sorry for him.

I did not make an official statement, nor sign anything and refused treatment and any/all cooperation. I was, however, bleeding from my eyebrow, merely from slipping on the juice I threw on the ground and thus hitting my face on the floor. I just think their reasonable grounds are unwarranted and really trying to rectify the situation.
