A couple of months ago I became extremely close to a boy in my year during a school trip to austria, I had hardly spoken to him before this, yet we instantly clicked and I felt like I had known him for years. We were bestfriends ever after. But my closest friend at school liked him, a lot, I was happy about it, but I still felt a little jealous, I didn't know why at the time. They were hitting it off a little, but she was always the one going to him, and I kept finding him coming to me. We both knew it was only friendly, but my close friend became jealous and started trying to make it a competition between the two of us. I didn't have to compete to get his attention though, she wasn't happy. On the 23 hour coach journey home, she sat in my seat which was next to him and proceeded to kiss him that night when she knew I was watching - most people were asleep but I don't sleep on journeys. At the service station he told me to sit back next to him as my close friend was 'annoying' him, I didn't tell him that I had seen her kiss him, although I refused to sit next to him again.
When we returned home he posted on my wall on Facebook and our thread carried on for 3 days. He was coming past my house on the third day and asked if he should get dropped off so we could hang out, I said yes. By this point we were best friends. Nothing happened between us. But when we got back to school I found that a lot of people weren't talking to me, his ex girlfriend had caused a big fuss and turned a lot of people against me. The weekend after I had a sleep over with Kate - my closest friend who kissed the boy, and Annabelle - another close friend. We were the three amigos, but I had felt that they had been leaving me out a lot, we got a little drunk and a lot of things happened. The Monday I went back to school neither of them were talking to me. I had to endure a whole week of school with no one but Ben to keep me company. Them pushing me out brought us together even more. That weekend we played tennis with my family, and the weekend after we kissed for the first time, it was amazing. The best kiss id ever had. That was when I realised I was head over heals in love with him.
We're really happy, and have been official for a month now, but I'm still having trouble with friends, nobody seems to want to be seen talking to me, and I don't want to force myself upon anyone. I'm hanging around with Ben at school, he and I both like it that way, but what if we break up? I need some sturdy friends in case.
