    18 year old quits school works 2 jobs is pregnant does chold support stop?
    The child is 18, quit school works a full time and part time job and is now pregnant living with her mother and the child's boyfriend. Do I still have to pay child support? We live in New York State.

    What is the exact reading of the child support order,

    My educated guess would be after 18 and no longer in school it would have already stopped. Normally you will have to file a motion for it to end

    Its time to go back to court and ask it to be stopped. Depending on when your paperwork went through the system its either 18 or 21. Since your child is pregnant then it is a clear sign of emancipation and age of majority. So take it in front of a judge.

    What does the Court Order say? I've seen Orders written with all sorts of conditions - and I'm also in NY.
