L1 visa holder - Married but single in US
I am married but living as Single in the US. How do I fill in W4 and State tax form.
In W4, I see the following in the worksheet
A - Enter "1" for yourself if no one else can claim you as dependent - "1" is this Correct ?
    B - Enter "1" if
    - You are single and have only one job - "1" is this correct ?
So, my total would be "2" where as some tax experts say I should only show "1" as total. Need clarification

Even though your wife is located in the home country, you can still file jointly with her.

So you can file the W-4 as MARRIED with no more than TWO allowances.
