    Animal cartoon where they were recruited to play in space against a cheating team
    Obviously this is what happened; I believe it was a Canadian special and may have been on before the racoons cartoon when racoons was a special not regular TV show. But the overall premise was animals (walking\talking) are recruited by a cheating space manager to play baseball on another planet. The overcome the various cheats the other team\manager put in front of them and win.
