    My well pump runs but I hAVE NO WATER?
    I have no water but my well still hums so I know it is getting power but it is only kicking on for a minute then it stops

    1. Is your pump above ground or in the well?
    2. If above ground, have you checked to see if it has prime?

    We have checked prime and the pump is above ground. I was told it may be the capacitor so we changed it and got water for just a minute two times then the capacitor exploded. The motor gets really hot and smells like its burning.
