    Taxes
    I'm from mexico,I worked in California por 3 months in 2009 with TN visa. After that I returned to mexico. What can I do with my taxes? I need help

    Did they take out income taxes? At this point you are very late as this return should have been done by April 2010. Unless you hope to get some money back, I'd forget it.

    I know is late but they send a letter telling me I need to do my taxes. They didn't take income taxes.I worked less than 183 days as subcontractor I have 1099 misc. was the only job that I did in US in 2009. Mexico is under tax treaty. I called to IRS but they didn't know about my case.

    You need to file the tax return. You ARE liable for U.S. income taxes, because 183-day rule does NOT apply if the income comes from a U.S.-source, which is clearly the case due to the Form 1099-MISC.
