    My grass looks like straw?
I live in Michigan and now that the snow is gone most of my grass looks like straw. When I tried raking it, it comes out to the dirt. This has never happened before. Should I continue to rank it out and start fresh?

I would suggest you rake your lawn and whatever clumps come out just shake some of the dirt off put it back down and press it back down with your foot then seed over it instead of leaving bald spots the grass will re-root itself and in about 4-6 weeks you should start seeing nice results. 2nd) while your lifting and shaking the grass clumps watch for grubs which looks like a huge maggot with a yellowish orange head, If you have some here is a 2 for 1 deal go to the grocery store and get non-alcoholic beer mix it with dish soap(2 cans to 1/4 cup soap) spray it on your lawn. This kills grubs and makes your grass real happy and healthy.

I just recently bought a house and the front / back yard needs major treatment. There's a mix of green grass that looks like weeds really just because it's in random spots. I mean the spots are green and look like some sort of grass. The side yard is actually in pretty good condition but I have...

Replacing the grass in my lawn with eco-grass [ 1 Answers ]

I want to replace the grass in my lawn with some eco-grass (a blend of fescues, not the astroturf), but I'd like to avoid using Roundup to kill my existing grass. I was thinking of either tilling my entire yard with a rototiller or getting a sod cutter and then flipping the sod over (so I don't...

My grass has large patches of dried, dead-looking, straw-like growth. I read this may be fungus?? Or is this a type of grass which grows locally (Pitman, south NJ). Please e-mail to [email protected] if anyone has ideas!

At the last straw [ 3 Answers ]

I've received civil court papers to appear in court for my credit card debt. If I put in to file bankruptcy is it to late will they continue with any garnishment. Also do you need to have a certain amount of money in your bank account in order for any creditors to put a freeze on it.
