    You did not say what make the drier is. Also, many driers have a date of manufacture stamped right on the nameplate. DrTom4444

    It's a GE... DDE8200GALWH(correction on the model number)
    Serial number: LV2 37448G
    I don't remember seeing a date stamped on the nameplate. I've totally taken it apart twice.

    The date of manufacture is Feb, 2002 or 1990. Unless it's really ancient it must be 2002. (see: http://www.geappliances.com/search/fast/infobase/10000722.htm ) DrTom4444
