    Have a carrier system.
    About every two weeks the thermostat will run the heat up to 78-83 degrees in the house. You can reset the thermostat and all will be well for tw weeks then off it'll go again. It ha no batt or fuses in it mod#tstatccnac01-b.your thoughts?

    This is a Carrier non-programmable t-stat, right? Most likely, the sensor is failing, or dust build-up in the t-stat is creating static build-up & interfering with function of electronics.
