Does anyone know the statute of limitations for larceny in the state of Florida

There are many factors here, the amount stolen, the way it was stolen, when it was discovered etc. Could be as little as 3 years or as much as 12.

Ok , this is what happen .I use sell cars and truck to people with little money weekly . I sold a 96 ford exploder to lady . Every week she something was wrong with it I would fix it . Then foe couple months she stop paying and I track her down where she lived . And talk to her a she had the truck to my shop . I found out the alt was bad and fix it . And I ask for the last bit of my money . She cry that she didn't have it . I sold the truck to some else for 1200.00 She calls cops and they come talk to me and itold I sold it . I left at that well 3 months later I found out there warrant for my arrest . (I wasn't licencse dealer )But I made all my people sign a repo paper statement if you don't paid I will take your vehicle... I thinking on getting a lawyer and fighting it , but I have bad luck with the law when I was younger , Ihavent been trouble for many years . I just don't my past to haunted me...

The statute of limitations has nothing to do with your situation.. It only runs from the time a crime occurred until charges are levied. In your case charges were levied, and a warrant was issued. Warrants NEVER expire.

You need a lawyer. Frankly, I don't think you DID anything illegal, cepting maybe not having a license.

As excon said, SOL doesn't apply.

Have you turned yourself in once you found out about the warrant?

With a signed repo statement, its unlikely you could be prosecuted for theft. The most that is likely to happen is being fined as an unlicensed dealer.

You "think" you may get an attorney and fight it ?

You should have an attorney who should file to have charges dismissed from a. lack of evidence b. no crime was committed and so on.

This is done every day, and depends on how many cars you were selling, but at the most you get a fine for not having a business license.
