It can be normal to go through ups and downs with your mood, but if you feel it has started to effect your day to day life, and has been ongoing for awhile, it would be wise to see about having a check-up from your doctor.
A few things you might try:
*be sure you are eating well, make some changes if need be
*get some sort of daily exercise, dance, walk, bike ride, take up a sport, etc.
*check the amount and kind of sleep you are getting... you may need more or more quality sleep than you are getting
*try some relaxation or meditation on a regular basis
*make some short term goals, something to plan for and look forward to
*if you take any medications, see if they could be effecting your mood... a change may be in order
*see if you can find ways to volunteer for others in your community... at a local church, retirement home, animal shelter, etc... giving to others can often help give you a sense of purpose... it feels good too!
