I feel like I am having a slight cold, am I pregnant?
My husband and I are trying to conceive and this is our first time. We had sex sat morning April 9 and Sunday night April 10. It's the 13th now. I am due to have my period on the 23. So I should been ovulating the day we had sex according to calanders. Now here is the funny part I don't have much contact with people much less sick people and now I am having cold like symptoms. Stuffy nose sneezing head aches. Where the weird part comes in, he started to feel the same thing and he NEVER gets sick even when people with flu are around him! I saw online that women get symptoms as little as four days after sex. Could it be a one shot wonder pregnancy and he is already feeling sympothy pains? Thank you for helpping!

Your husband is not going to get pregnancy symptoms if your pregnant first of all, second of all everyone catches a cold a some stage in their life and thirdly, a cold is air-born, you do not need to be around any people to catch one. You could also be pregnant but you will need to wait until you miss a period, you would not feel pregnancy symptoms 4 days after sex, it takes up to a week for implantation to occur and release the HCG levels which are then detected threw blood tests or urine tests.

True I read that too. It takes a few days to a little over a week for it to implant itself. I can say yes for sympothy pains you should have seen my brother and his wife poor guy couldn't even hear the word avacado or smell perfumes for a good while plus he wanted jalapanos really badly which he never does then it went away. Its wishy washy I guess. The wait is killing me what should I do till I test??
Thank you for your reply though ^_^

The waiting is the worst! Believe me I have been through it... in the meantime you should cut out smoking/drinking, start taking a pregnancy muti-vitamin also, these usually have folic acid in them which are very important for babies development and you can take them even if your not pregnant and just while your trying conceive. So if it doesn't happen this time (it can take up to a year to concieve) you will have plenty of good vitamins ready in your body.

Oh wow I didn't think about the multi vitamin! Funny how people who don't want to have a baby gets in in their first time and people who want it take forever. Ahh I hope I don't have to try for a year! Twiddle my thumbs I must. When is the soonest I can test?

The soonest you can test is one day after a missed period but its very likely you won't get an accurate result so early and its very common to be a few days late on your period, so I suggest you test at least a week after your missed period. I actually got pregnant the night me and my partner decided to have kids lol which is very strange!
