I'm 27 and have been trying to conceive since from last October. My Trying to conceive meant that I stopped contraceptive pills and thought that I would be pregnant once I stop it. So till now I haven't got pregnant and I am so worried. Have been reading lot about pregnancy, Conceiving and did lot of online calculating of ovulation and fertility. But it didn't work for me. May be its because my periods are very irregular. Sometimes Its 26 day cycle and sometimes its 32 days cycle. Last month I tried to look out for cervical mucus... but I didn't ovulate. That's what I think. Around Feb I visited Gynaecologist for thorough checkup like Urine,Blood, PAP Smear. I also told her that I am Trying to conceive and she prescribed me the medicine called Clomiphene citrate Tab 50 MG Fertimode and told me to eat it on 8th day... counting 1st day of my Period. IT didn't really worked out. I haven't really consulted any other doctors. I'm just too afraid and don't want 2 hear that you are infertile and can't give birth. Please Advice

You have only been trying to conceive for 6 months. It can take the average couple up to a year or more for conception to occur. It's really too early to tell if you or your partner are infertile.

For now, treat your body as if you are pregnant. Take a prenatal vitamin, get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and don't smoke or drink alcohol (if you do).
