What can I ask for in court if my landlord won't stop harassing me? Im pregnant and st
Long story short, I moved in on jusy 1st and signed a one year lease. My landlord called me to his office on July 28th and told me I had to move because he wanted to sell the house. He gave me an agreement to end a tenancy form but I did not sign it. He has been harassing me and threatening to lock my doors ever since. I am taking him to tribunal court in a couple days and need to know what I can ask for in court in regards to this guy harassing me. He had the house sold and the closing date was a few days ago. The new buyer backed out of the sale and the landlord is super mad now. I do not have a lawyer. I'm scared for my baby because of all the stress. Please help

You tell the Court what you've told us, bring any proof you have and ask what relief they offer/recommend.

I hope you realize that your LL's desire to sell doesn't affect your rights under a lease. And if he were to sell, you would simply acquire a new landlord, equally without the power to terminate the lease early.

So don't be troubled. Your landlord doesn't have a case.

Why does the landlord keep knocking on your door? If the apartment is illegal and you go to the Police they will close down the apartment and you will be without a place to live.

I'd find out WHY they are knocking and ask them to stop.
