    90's cartoon or maybe late 80's!
    I've forgotten the name and haven't been able to find this anywhere.
    This cartoon is somewhat like transformer and the centurions.
    There are different characters where everyone carries a stick kind of thing from which, they transform themselves.
    One turns into a lion, the other to a wolf, and spiders, monsters.

    This is the spin off that. It came from the transformer line.

    There is beast wars and following it was beast machines from that era.
