Ask the court clerk for a subpoena form and fill it in then submit it to the clerk for sign off by the judge, then have it served on other party.

Is this a brand new case or is this an ongoing case? If you filed for divorce or its an ongoing custody battle then you may not need a sopeona. Its called discovery and it's a process where you request documents from the opposing party. If they refuse then you can take it a step further. If your asking for documentation outside of the opposing party like phone records from the phone company or earning reports from their place of employment then you will need a seopena to compell them to release the information. At that point your involving a third party.
