We broke up cause she wanted something more
Hey guys. Hope you can help me with a little advice here.
I'm 24 - boy, she is 26-girl. We broke up, although we love each other a lot, because she wants something more than I can give her, something more serious - she said that she wants a family and children in less then 3 years. I understand what she wants, I tried 2 convince her that if she won't have a family in 3 years nothing will happen. My question is: how could I convince her to give up her wishes? Cause I feel like she is the ONE for me, no doubt about it, but I can't see myself having a family in the near futere. And I can't see her either. One of the reasons is that none of us could live on our own, without the help of our parents.. So, what to do?

Leave her alone to pursue her dream, and you get one to pursue yourself. You have no right to tell some one what they can't do because you have something else in mind, or are afraid to try.

Yes talaniman, I'm thinking the same. But then again, whywould you want to have a baby only for the sake of it, since you are not able 2 raise it on your own? I should remake my question like this: how can I convince her not 2 break up up with me only because she wants a family sooner than I want? Cause it is frustrating the whole situation. Since we love each other

Obviously she wants a family more than she wants just you. If she can't get what she wants with you, she will surely seek what she wants elsewhere.

You better change your thinking, or get ready to change girlfriends. A female who wants it YOUR way may be hard to find.

You're not on the same page,so it's for the best.

When it comes to starting a family, being in agreement is essential.

You two weren't,so it's better breaking up sooner rather than later.

You want her to change yet you are not going to.
The fact is you two are not on the same page.
Let her go pursue her dream and you pursue yours.
