I recently replaced the heating element in my oven and now one of the wires came off and is lost behind my oven. What do I do?

Make sure the power is off and fashion a fish wire from a coat hanger. Remove the new element and try to catch the wire with the coat hanger, pulling it back out of the wall. If this fails, youi will need to remove the oven to access the wiring.

My oven seems to run well under the temperature it is set at. In order to get the temperature up to say 375, I have to set the temperature at maybe 550 and then guess as to what the actual temperature is inside the oven. Is this a bad thermostat?
