    Itchy Red Bumps and Spots
So I've had these for about 2 years now and I have no idea what they are! All I know is that if I get cold I break out into these hives! Usually it's around my knees, waist, and hands. I attached a picture because I was wearing shorts today and was sitting down at my desk and I started getting itchy and I looked down and there it was!

Every time I get cold even with the air conditioning on! It's also happened to me a couple times in the pool which I find emberrasing! The upper part of my legs were completely covered in these hives. Any help? Suggestions? What do I have :(??

I had similar but more severe itchy rashes which started at my calves and spread all over the body. Finally after months of suffering and adamant attitude of the physician I stopped all my medication, much to the unhappiness of the physician. I apply moisturing cream (Vitamin E Body Butter from the Body shop). It is working well for me. Since the skin becomes dry quite frequently, the moisturing cream works well for me. Besides as a senior citizen, the earlier physician prescrbed me medications for Hypertension, Cholesterol, Blood thinners (Clopidogrel) more as PREVENTIVES than for actual illness requirement. This led to severe drug reaction of skin rashes and severe itching, which the physician redfused to accept and admit! Now NO Preventive Medicines and NO itchy RASHES! As my well wisher friend says : There is nothing preventible than bad habits!"

Well, Rash and Itching just don't go away easily. More we try more embarrassment we end up with. I did not give up. The anti allergy medication like allegra(fexofenadine hydrochloride) just lead me to drowsiness primarily. I followed the following: (1)Wash the affected area with tap water , and then with an antiseptic solution like Dettol or Savlon. (2) Next apply Eau de cologne water. (3)Apply calaydryl(calamine and diphenyhydramine hydrovhloride) lotion. Sometimes this helps. For my dry skin I do not use any soap, even moisurizing soap for my shower. I prefer vitamin E enriched shower gel or exotic flower-based bathing milk from body shop. I made many trials with different moisturising creams and bathing milk, shower gels till I hit on the ones that gave me encouraging response from my affected skin. Good Luck!
