    Gravimetric stoichiometry
    Could someone show me the step by step method to solving this question?(im so confused: confused: )

    What mass of precipitate should form if 2.00g of silver nitrate in a solution is reacted with an excess sodium sulfide solution?

    I'll give you 4 steps to follow:

    Write out the equation
    Work out how many moles of silver nitrate you have (using atomic masses)
    Work out how many moles of pricipitate you would have (using the equation)
    Work out how much mass that many moles of precipitate is equal to (using atomic masses)
