    Head on shrimp
I remember using raw shrimp for fish bait. It was a mess with ink in the shrimp head.
Now I purchased some shrimp with the heads on. Do you suppose after cooking that ink
    Dries up??

If you are buying raw shrimp with head on, the head is to be removed along with the vein down th middle. If you are to cook them, that is.

You can cook raw shrimps with head on, shell on and not deveined. The 'ink' on the head usually dries up and it's not black like that of a squid.
