    I don't know about free but one option is to see if any colleges in your area have a dental school. When I was a student at Marquette, I had a lot of work done on my teeth very affordably at the dental school on campus. While students did the work, they were very carefully supervised every step of the way by outstanding dentists who were full professors in the program, and stepped in if the student's didn't know how to do something in particular. They did very good work - everything was exactly to the book.
