Another well deserved award for the President
President Obama accepted the 'Transparancy 'Award Monday from 'OMB Watch'.
OMB Watch | Promoting open government, accountability, and citizen participation since 1983

The ceremony was performed in a closed door secret meeting in the White House . Attendees were Gary Bass of OMB Watch, Tom Blanton of the National Security Archive, Danielle Brian of the Project on Government Oversight, Lucy Dalglish of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, and Patrice McDermott of OpenTheGovernment.org.

    No press were in attendance.

Evidently he was honored on the hope of some future transparancy

“And in that sense, one could say it resembles the award at the Nobel Peace Prize,” Aftergood said. “It's not because Obama brought peace to anyone but because people hoped he would be a force for good in the world, and maybe that's the way to understand this award.”

Speaking of transparency in the Obama administration, good to know the Justice Dept cleared itself in the New Black Panther voter intimidation case.

And isn't he the leader of the you "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it" party?
