There is this guy that sits in front of me in my first class, and I asked for his number since I got a new phone. He willingly gave it too. The conversation changed to something else so I don't know if he wants me to call or text or what...
He does not have my number so what do or say to get closer to him and start the conversation?

He would not have given you the number unless he wanted you to call, so you asked for it, why have you not called ?

I don't know him closely yet and I can't tell if he likes me since I do like him. If I did call wouldn't it be awkward and what would I say? Thanks though :D

You asked him for his number. Why did you do that? Did you think you would call him? If not, why else would you ask someone for his number?

That's true. I wanted his number because I didn't know mine hence the 'new phone'. I was going to text him but my phone is messed so yeah.. I was going to be like "let me call you so you have my number".
Im a high schooler so asking for someone's phone number doesn't mean that they are going to call that night.. Or does it.. ahhaha.

You can easily find your number on your phone. You don't have to call someone.

Is this your first phone? If nothing else, text him and tell him hi, you are trying out your new phone to see if it works. Ask him to call you back for further checking. (Guys like to check things.)

Any male you know would be delighted to show you how your phone works. Ask, but tell them to take it slow and let you try it out each time they show you something.

I'm 4,539 years old and figured mine out pretty quickly (and I'm not a techie at all).

P.S. Reddies are "bad" things. Please don't give one to anyone else unless that person is FACTUALLY incorrect.
