    What is the bounce cheque n why it happens

    It means that when the check was presented to the bank, the funds were not there to cover it.

    And to add to what RickJ said; the ckeck bounced back to you, which means the bank returned the check due to insufficient funds and you will have to pay a penalty due to trying to cash a check without enough funds for the check to clear.

    I couldn't tell whether komala wrote the check that "bounced" or he was one that received a check that bounced.
