    Thanks I understand overall my ? Is a 2001 F350 with 148000 miles on it can I expect another 100000 miles this truck is clean and has the 7.3 turbo Ill look for your answer thanks Scott

    Easily. Be sure, however, to read and follow the suggestions in the link below, especially concerning using full synthetic heavy duty diesel oil and only Motorcraft oil filters:

    Otherwise, the turbos will go on you--not cheap to replace, either.

I was driving my 2001 power stroke diesel it shut down and will not restart. A computer check shows a code of high volume oil pump lower. There is no fire from the wiring harness going to the sensors to the oil pump should there fire.
