    Retirement benefits in a divorce
    In California, In getting a divorce where one spouse has retirement benefits and the benefits are being split utilizing QDRO's, and the other spouse decides to cash out those benefits who is responsible for paying the taxes on those benefits cashed out?

    The person making the withdrawl is responsible for the taxes.
