    Getting a tooth removed?
So I am 18 and I don't live at home. I went to the dentist about a hole in my tooth and she told me I need to get a root canal, I don't have insurance as I can't really afford it and I don't really want to be paying upwards of $1000. It is my middle molar at the top left of my mouth, will this leave me with any serious issues?

    Yes.

If you don't get it taken care of, then you risk "serious issues".

When a tooth is removed with teeth on either side there is always the chance of the teeth that remain starting to drift or tip to fill in the gap. This could take years to occur but could cause problems later in life. If you are having the tooth removed start saving for an implant or bridge as soon as you can.
