    Is there a smoking ban radius around public building entrances
    After having to walk through a cloud of smoke to get into the pub.
    I was wondering is there a radius in which smokers are not allowed to smoke around an entrance?
    English pub.

    Nope.
    The law was changed to stipulate no smoking WITHIN a building.
    Companies had to specify a designated smoking area, but public buildings did not.
    So as long as you are not IN the building when you light up, your legal.

    A little short sighted, TBH, especially where Pubs, clubs, etc are concerned as a separate smoking room/bar would have kept this habit within the confines of the building.
