I am 25 years old and have been using the Mirena IUD for a year and a half now. Everything has worked great but I woke up this morning and noticed abnormal bleeding. It is not heavy but definitely more than light "spotting". Can you tell me what could cause this and what I should do from here

Well it might be nothing it could just be the hormones, I think you should see your doctor, I have also had abnormal bleeding I have had the mirena for over a year I went from having a light pieriods every few months to having it heavy and painfull 3 times a month I feel sick during the day and I have had un protected sex the doctors have done text and found nothing so they are doing more tests so I worried to, ill say this thank god your not me, good luck with your stuff and let me know what happens

P.s if you haven't had any issues before with your female parts its probably nothing
