What are your top favorite 5 movies of all time?
And I mean movies that really moved you and touched you, so not like comedy or horror movies please. Thank you!
Oh and also not really really old classics like Casa Blanca or anything like that! Lol. 90's and newer would be nice lol.

These are the movies that if I stumble upon while flipping through the TV channels I will always stop and watch, for the umpteenth time:
1. Airplane (yes it's a comedy, but the best of all time)
2. Fargo
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Apollo 13
5. Saving Private Ryan

Same here... Was undecided about Full Metal Jacket.. parts of it was great... but it had a strange halting flow like it was a project he kept walking away from and picking back up at odd intervals.
Should have mentioned Band of Brothers... AWESOME miniseries. The Pacfic was good to, just not as good. I don't think it developed quite as well in the storyline.

Yes it was Bill Murray. What did you think about The Rum Dairy's. Have you read any of his political things? Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail?

I have read most of Hunter Thompsons work at one time or another. It should be required reading for all Poli/Sci and Journalism majors.
He is a personal hero of mine for giving the most honest accounts of the sixties and seventies , and other obscure reasons.
Like running for sheriff of Aspen Co. on the platform of daily use of mescaline , LSD, Peyote . Tearing up the streets and replacing them with sod , and renaming Aspen... Fat City to deter realtors.
And winning 44% of the vote. He won the city vote , the remainder of the county had the democratic candidate , on an agreement with republicans to withdraw a candidate for a different office, withdraw from the race to consolidate enough votes to keep Thompson from winning.
The MOVIE... The Rum Diary's will be out sometime this year.
Also staring Johnny Depp.
RIP Dr. Gonzo.

Casablanca
Fiddler on the Roof
