    Ground wires for what system? Battery ground, engine ground, computer ground, need more info.

    What ever system would run my dash lights radio taillights I just seen that the ground wire could be the problem as the fuses are fine srry about not stateing

    No problm, the ground for the dash lights and radio will be under the dash on the drivers side near where the steering column goes through the firewall, can't remember if it is one or two separate grounds on a 97. The tail lights shoul be under each tail light. But your problem there could be caused by bad ground on the headlight switch up in the dash. One other question, I assume your headlights work, but are they bright or are they verry yellow when on? If they are very yellow you should replace the ground cable from the battery to the car chassis. Hope this helps

    Left tail and plate lamp share a ground. Right tail lamp has it's own ground. Both of those will be in the trunk above the tail lamp assembly.
    The stereo ground is described as on the right side of what Plymouth calls the "center stack" referring to the center of the dash panel.
    You may follow lilpoppa's advise and replace the battery ground.

1999 plymouth neon won't start. I bonk the starter motor with a rod, and it starts fine for a little bit after that. Runs fine after started, but when shut off, I have to hit the starter again.
