    Need to find old parts for tub shower control
    Need the two cylinders (first two attachment pics). House was built in 1954, assuming this is original equipment. Had to replace them once before (plumber found them somewhere), would like to replace them myself this time. They wear out and chatter, and don't allow for good hot water control until replaced.

    Take them over to a local plumbing supply store and see what the guys at the counter think. With any luck they can suggest a fix here... ;)
