    Will he come back?
My ex and I had been together for almost 3 years when he broke up with me on his birthday and 3 days before mine last September. My ex said that he didn't know what he wanted and that he needed to figure it out, this after he asked me to marry him within our first six months together. This was also after I had been with him when his dad had to have back surgery, he was with me when my grandfather died last year, and I had brain surgery. I want to believe he will come back,(even if not when he said he would by the end of this current school year in may) but I don't know what to think. My best guy friend "Fred" says that he will, just not when my ex "Matt" said when we last talked. Should I give up on him coming back? If so, this is almost impossible because he was my everything and he knew it. Even his family was shocked by our break up because everyone around us (both families as well as mutual friends) could see that we were both meant to be. What should I do? Completely forget him? Or still hope that he will come back?

Don't put your life on hold and don't hang around in limbo any longer.

You need to get on with your life and start living again.

You've given this more than six months-don't give it another day.

I'm sorry for your heartbreak, but it's time to get your own life back.

You aren't his everything anymore, so stop making him your everything. He is an ex, and its time for something else in your life. Go and find it.
