    Help needed with complex situation
    Hi,

I was in F1 status since July 2005, and graduated in May 2010. My wife was in H1 status only during January 2010 and then changed to F2 status. We both left US in June 2010.

    1. Am I considered a resident for 2010 tax purposes?
    2. Can I file a joint return with the income of me and my wife?
    3. Should I file 1040 or 1040NR?

    Thanks, Vijay
