I naturally have a very deep dark brown hair color. I wanted highlights, but I refuse to use a hair color that contains bleach/ammonia! My hairstylist put highlights in my hair using a non ammonia/ no bleach box coloring, and my hair did lift, but to no where near the actual box color which was "Honey Blond". Now my question is, if we were to reapply that SAME box color over my highlights would my hair be lifted any higher, seeing that its not starting at such a dark color, because it has already been colored? :confused:

Of course!! You just can't go from deep brown to blonce! It at least takes two color treatments
