    How soon can I take pregnancy test
    I am on birth control . I had my period 24 February 2011 , on the 26 & 27 I took antibiotics for the two days On the 28 February 2011 I started my second pack active tables . On the 5 th March I had unprotected sex . I never missed a pill and never had sex ever since am I pregnant ? When Can I take a pregnancy Test , My sugar pills starts this Monday .

    Please I really need to know .

    The best time to take a HPT is after you miss your period.

    Certain antibiotics will cause the pill to become inactive.

    Also, remember that the pill is not 100% effective all the time. You can still become pregnant if you take the pill EXACTLY as directed.

    I took the pill AND used a condom and got pregnant not once, but twice.

    I'm sorry, as a nurse I don't sugar coat anything. As a mother of 4, I don't sugar coat anything.

    I should never have gotten pregnant with any of my children but I did. One thing it taught me was that abstinence or a total abdominal hysterectomy is the only way you won't become pregnant.

    13 years ago I was told that I was sterile because of chemotherapy for my cancer. My son is now 9 years old.

    If you aren't ready to be a parent, avoid sex like the plague!

    Ok thanks if I am pregnant , which will be two weeks what symptoms will I have to look out for , because the birth control pills gives you the same symptoms as pregnancy does . I don't want the baby where should I go to abort it .

    Actually, premenstrual symptoms are the same as pregnancy. Sore breasts, frequent urination, irritable moods, etc.

    The first sign of pregnancy is a missed period, so you have to wait for that.

    Now, just so you know, I am pro choice. However, abortion is not always the answer. Abortion can carry long term mental issues, as adoption can as well.

    Since this is a global website, and I don't know where you live in this world, I can only suggest Planned Parenthood should you decide to go the abortion route.

    However, let's not put the cart before the horse. Let's find out if you are pregnant first.

    One more question , according to my cycle I should ovulate on the 10th March 2011 and unprotected sex happened 5 March 2011 , if my birth control failed me , how long does sperm then live , according to my knowledge it can only live 5 days .
