The 3 day right to cancel isn't universal... and in fact doesn't apply in many circumstances.
Attempting to stop payment on a valid purchace or contract is a violation of the law in its own rite.
But what does that have to do with what you posted?
YOu are going to have to give MORE details than you have. Including what state and country you are in. Laws vary.

It is in Texas. We attended a seminar on Fri, Sat and Sun. signed contract for "continuing education on wealth in real estate" on Sunday. The charge was for $25k and the credit cards were to run on Thursday the 10th. They left message on the 9th that they had run them on Wed the 9th. The contract says may cancel anytime prior to 3 business days from purchase. I am thinking that the purchase date is the date the credit cards were run. Then I am thinking that Monday (today) is the 3rd business day. I have called compnay and am waiting to hear back from quality department

Hello f:
The three day right of refusal applies to sales that occur IN YOUR HOME only. Sales that occur on the salesman's premises do not count. The idea behind having that right in your home, but not elsewhere, is because elsewhere you can walk OUT. You can't do that at home.

Hello again, f:
Well, if your contract says you can cancel, then you can. Do it by CERTIFIED mail sent return receipt requested. Otherwise if they just don't answer your call your three days expires...

The sale date is not the date credit card is ran but the date you signed the agreement, Sunday,
That is why they waited to run the credit card, they run the credit card after the "three day" they wait to run to see if you are going to ask your money back before they run.
At this point you will have to file a complaint with the credit card company that they did not provide he product that was advertised.

Agreed, The 3 days starts with the day you signed the contract. So if they processed the charge at close of business on Wed they followed their end of the agreement. You will have to fight this on other grounds.

My company rented a kiosk in a mall in Arizona. We had problems with local compentation and told the mall we had to leave. We told them to keep the rent ( $1,500.00 ) but we wanted our $1,000.00 deposit back. They said no and we are going to fine you a $100.00 per hour for every hour you are not...
