I really want to go to Spokane, Washington this summer. What are some good ways to earn money to go there for a thirteen year old? I'm okay with kids, but I'm best at art. I also like working with animals or plants. I asked the flower shop down my street if I could get a job and they said no. I'll be thirteen by the time summer starts. Also, my parents can help pay. I just have to pay for some of it. My parents will be coming with me on my trip.

What are some of your parents suggestions

As a child, walking neighbors dogs, helping neighbors in their gardens, baby sitting, if this is some sort of trip for a group or event, a fund raiser such as a car wash. A local food store may let bring in buggies or carts for a small amount.

There are age restrictions against hiring someone 13 in most places.

You could try babysitting, mowing lawns, or doing house chores for people like house cleaning, washing cars, or doing yardwork. Just to name a few things you can do.
