I started cramping 2 weeks after having sex, and 3 days later I started spotting, and a couple days later I started to heavily bleed, having to change a tampon or pad literally every hour or two hours! And I have been cramping for a week straight, and medicine is not working! The pain is unbearable at times and causes muscle tightening, abdomen, and pelvic pains!what do you think the problem is??

It sounds like a rough menstrual cycle to me, but for you, I'm not sure.

I'm assuming that you've not experienced this type of cycle before. How old are you? Have you had periods for a while?

I doubt having sex has anything to do with this. Spotting commonly occurs before menstration. If your bleeding continues to be that heavy for more than a day, or if the pain really is "unbearable" you should call your doctor ASAP.

I am 16, and have had my period for a LONG time! This is very unnormal for me!

A friend suggested that it may be a misscarriage! And I think so. I looked online for the symptoms and it said exactly what was wrong with me and what I had been experiencing! I know for a fact its not my cycle! It came on way too early and I cramped 3 days straight, non stop before I started spotting, then bleeding heavily 2 days after! And I am still bleeding to this day! A period for me is never this heavy, and I have clumps of blood coming out also.

It may be time for you to seek medical attention. Any time you have to change pads every hour warrants a doctor's visit.
