    Diana Ross Skin Lightening
What did Diana Ross use on her face and body to make it so light? That is the complexion I'm trying to get to. Any ideas?

    Her father was very light.

If u notice in the 80's her skin got lighter & stayed.
    Old Black & white photos (60's) u can't tell.

She played tennis before that so I think her natural color came back once she stopped he tennis

My dad and grandmother are light and I'm not. So, the complexion's of parents doesn't always mean that the kid will come out light. Also, In Diana's younger years including her childhood photos she was my complexion... she definitely had skin lightening treatments. I just wish I knew what they were exactly?

    Yes that's true how.
Black or shall I say dark color is a dominate gene. I still say Her DNA has a lot to do w some of her lighter coloring. When she's on the old MJ tapes she browner. I know she was playing tennis then.
I saw her I have photos of her from 82 or 83 she was very light & not just her face. Im sure she has done something but she wasn't very dark from the beginning she was a little lighter than Caramel.
Her sister is lighter than she is today. Some kids get the lighter color some don't. I;m just saying when u have a dark gene & a light. U will gte the dark & the light in the mix. I was shocked I was close she was lighterr before she moved to europe.
I wish I could say she went to Europe & got lighter but that not what I saw... lol
She's a mystery. We will never know Lil Kim MJ all of them we got photos, but that's all we got!! Lol they will never tell

Well, to each his/her own. We all have our ideas on how and who lightened... but Lil' Kim! What on earth did she use on her skin?

Are you using anything on your skin to lighten? What has worked for you? So far I'm using Bio Clair again for my face, neck, and ears and it lightening well. But, it burned my arms and legs pretty bad last year. I used Makari night nad day cream and it worked really well, but the proce is so high nad I can't afford that right now.

I messed up my skin w mono... Im spotted. But when I look at photos of myself as a kid Im darker. I've lighten up at least 2 shades w/o playing in the sun.. Then I used hq 4% wore hats & sunscreen. That was 2 more shades but it was my face & neck only... so I wanted to even all over... I tried mono then Benzarbutin. Now I look like a spotted freak. so that's why I know u can ge sun by rding in your car or not wear sometime of hat. The color we r born is our natural. U lifestyles change us. U seen Lik Kim arrest photos? She not that dark... she even up a lot. I don't think they had to do too much.
Maybe injections & low dose mono$$$$$. Mono will work if u don't mix it yourself. w/o spots. I mixed mine to save money. The spot I tried the premix mono is even no spots the other places I made a mess...

I went back to bio clair out of desperation because I can't afford to buy makari for right now. Yeah, I went through desperation, so until I can find something else that hopefully costs less and can work...

Mepk you mentioned Lil' Kim may have used lightening injections, is this the same as l-glutathione injections? I wonder where can I get this effectively done in the U.S. About benzarbutin, can it really lighten the skin like 4-5 shades lighter if I got it mixed professionally somewhere?

I haven't watched the YouTube videos yet about the l-glutathione injection. I know that a whol set can be purchased online by some of some legitimate companies, but there are a lot of fakes out there too. I would be nervous if I did the injection wrong and would rather a professional to do it for me. But, can't find one in the U.S... :(

Well, I have been watching a lot of You tube videos on this and this was what I found so far:
    YouTube - glutathione injection
YouTube - iv glutathione administration part 1

I was surprised that they weren't even using gloves in these 2 videos. I wish I had a nurse friend that would be willing to do them for me... or for me to at least take an actual class on how to.. lol

Anyone tried the l-glutathione injections from the Monobenzone site www.monobenzone.net - benoquin, monobenzone cream we ship worldwide. with success? Anyway, I wonder how many shades and in what length of time it can lighten?

Really, so do they even work? I read that there were a lot of fake l-glutathione injections floating around online, especially coming from the Philippines. I guess the best way to get the genuine kind is somehow get a prescription for it and have the doctor to do it for you..

Get a life, and start loving yourself. I am embarrassed by Black people who are hell bent on changing their looks to conform to society. You are NOT ugly... I know that's what we have been told, but we are BEAUTIFUL!! Forget the celebrities, they lighten their complexions almost all of them have e.g.. Diana ross, rhianna, Beyonce and so on. If I say I am completely upset with them I would be foolish, because I know they need to appeal to their fan base. However I try to focus on those that have taken a stand and still have a profitable fan base.

How can you people discussion the hatred you feel for the colour of your skin so casually. Self hatred isn't a fashion?
