14 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
    Hello,
After a rough night, and a rough day today, I'm at a loss as to what's happening with my 14 week old puppy. I've had her since she was 5 weeks old, and for the last 6 weeks, she's been able to hold her bowels for at least 4 - 6 hours, sometimes a little longer, overnight. Last night, she whined, and immediately messed in her crate. I got up, took her out, cleaned the kennel, bathed her, and put her back to bed. 2 hours later, more whining, more stool. Repeat Process. 3x during the night we did this, and 4x today, after being taken outside numerous times, and doing her business each time, she messed again, in her gated area, in the hallway, etc.
Nothing has changed as far as her routine, or her food, so why she suddenly started messing in the kennel and in the house, literally overnight, really has me concerned.
She's not the least bit lethargic. She's very energetic, and seems to be her normal self, except for the messes. Does anyone have ANY idea what could be happening??

Take her in to get her wormed.

Worms will create house training problems and puppies can't seem to hold it.

Also, keep in mind, puppies can relapse. Stick to your schedule and re-enforce a clean environment.

    Good luck!

Thank you! I've taken her in for all her scheduled vaccinations, and she's been wormed. She has another booster due soon, so I'm going to call and make the appt tomorrow, and will be asking if they(the Vet) have any ideas as to what could be causing this rather traumatic experience. I discovered little tufts of pillow stuffing under the couch this evening, while looking for anything she may have gotten in to, and I'm wondering if she actually swallowed some of it, and if it could cause her to have so many bowel movements, and cause her to soil her kennel?
    Anyway, Thank you, again!

It could! She could be a sensitive dog and anything different may create the mistakes. With puppies, don't ever rule out anything you might be suspicious of! Lol

Good luck to you with your vet visit. Hope everything gets solved

Keep a close eye on her. She could be having an allergic reaction to something. You can try a small dose (about 2mg/kg) of Benadryl and see if that works. How much does she weigh (approx)?
