Skipping Periods.
Hi, I'm 15 nearly 16 years old and I am about 5ft 1 and I weigh about 12 1/2 stone. I have regular periods and they are usually on time, I'm never late, sometimes early. But this month is weird. I have had all signs of pms, but I have had no period. I'm almost 2 weeks late, I am really worried. I'm not pregnant either, I'm a virgin, I don't take any birthcontrol either. Please help, I'm really worried.

Has there been a change in activity or added stress in your life recently? Those can throw off your cycle.

Sometimes our periods are just off for no apparent reasons. And sometimes things like changes in diet, exercise, or stress can also make them late. It's probably nothing to worry about, but if you are worried, it's best to talk to your doctor just to play it safe.

If your doctor deems it necessary, there are certain medications that are supposed to help your period start. But you'll need to discuss that with your doctor, since 1) it might not be needed in your case, or at least not at this point and 2) you'd need a prescription.

Since your already doing that activity then it doesn't really count. I was thinking more like joining a football team (soccer) or starting gymnastics. Something that requires a lot of physical activity. Those can caus changes. As far as what you can do to make it happen really there is nothing except try not to worry (stress) over it and allow nature to take its course. Its good that your monitoring yourself and keeping up with changes. But sometimes life just throws a curve our way and you just have to deal with it. As stated by Justcurious sometimes stuff happens for no apparent reason.

Best do go see your doctor. If nothing else, you can confirm that it's nothing to worry about.
