    My dad had a motorbike accident on 9th feb 2011, his wife of five months is making it very difficult to visit along with her mother and they are controlling who visits him. What can I do?

    Hello Rude:

    There isn't much you can do, except sneak up the back staircase after visiting hours. You'll get a few minutes with your dad.

    If he is still in the hospital his wife's mother can't stop you from seeing him. You have just as much right to see your father as his wife does. You are a blood relative, just try to visit him when his wife isn't there.
