    Need a divorce
    I do not know where my husband is. It is believed he locked up but don't know for sure.How can I get a divorce?

    Hire an attorney. Follow court rules and guidelines for searching for your husband. If he can not be found, follow court rules for doing service though publication. ** posting notice of court in newspaper. Then you appear in court and prove you tried to find him according to the requirements of the court and could not find him, and go on with court

    You would have to have it ran in the local newspaper for 45 days, I think, before you can move forward with the actual divorce.

    ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

    You may not need an attorney, but you need to know the applicable laws where you live. An attorney would be better though. If its an uncontested divorce it may cost only a few hundred dollars.
