I won full custody of my daughter before we had joint custody but he would leave her at random places on his days so we went to court. I showed him the photos and paper work from the doctor about the burns and the fact she was under wieght being with him he had taken off with her for three months I couldn't find them the police wouldn't help anyway so the judge even knew of his back round on how he tried to kill me and yet he allowed visitation now my ex doesn't have a job or a regular place to live. Several times she has come home dirty sick and tired he finds it funny he will joke about how he just drops her off at his moms well last month I had to get off work and rush my daughter to the hospital he left her with his mom and instead of his mom calling me to tell me she was throwing up she made her wait till Sunday the day she normally gets droped off well she was very sick and he wouldn't go to the hospital he told me it was not his problem that I was the mother and to take care of it. I want my daughter to see her dad but I am afraid he is not mature enough to have her without supervision.
and I can't not give her to him or I will violate the order I have tried talking to the judge but he keeps throwing out my motions and last weekend he went to jail and his mother had my daughter and no one called me because I thought that it was a violation if he went to jail and did not return my daughter and his parents it states in the order they are not to be alone with my child because of recent things so I guess what I am asking is what are my options I am afraid for my daughters well being and I just want her to be safe. There are times he gets her and drops her back off. I know he doesn't spend time with her he already told me he doesn't love her but he will see her so he will look good. He doesn't pay child support the court has done nothing about this and he is verbal and I just found out that this whole time he has had a warrant out for his arrest wouldn't the judge check background before giving visitation I had witnesses stating he was abusive and I don't understand why a judge would let him see her without supervision its dangerous I love my daughter and I just want her safe

You need an attorney.

Contact your local Bar Association , or legal advocate group or state agency and see if they can help you or get you to someone who can.

I have been through this and seen many others go through it.
An attorney is essential.
Be relentless about getting this done ASAP.

You could try contacting Child Protective Services or whatever it is called in your area , they may be able to offer some help also.

I have talked to child protective services but they told me she needs bruises to show he is unfit I have called attorneys but they all want a huge fee and I am a single mom with no extra money I feel like the judge just doesn't care and is blowing me off

I was a single parent also and understand the money situation.

Have you contacted the local Bar ? They often have attorneys
That will help with little or no compensation or they can refer
You as to where to find one in your area.

There are also church and community organizations that may help.
Keep looking, without an attorney you are helpless in court.

What area of the country are you in (without being too specific)?
Maybe someone will know where to send you in your area.

Get strong and stay that way.
This is no easy road to follow and your child's welfare is at stake.

They wait until the child is injured? I'd like to give a demonstration to whoever told you that , that bruising is a painful process and is best prevented rather than stopped.. Sometimes it requires sorting through the overpaid egotistical vermin that are encountered at government agencies , to find a human interested in really trying to help.
