Well you see, I go to high school and I am in grade 10. I was never accepted in the group sense 7th grade, and I steal am not. Recently, I have been having meting people and making friends. And that is when martin came. He was one off the popular one. I had to hang out with him... so we began to be friends for a week. The Monday morning we went to the McDonald and eat, I paid. He usually does not accept and like to pay himself but this time I wanted to get to know him and I paid. We eat and everything was grate until the afternoon when I saw one of my friend and his friend come to the same buss. I got up and we all talked. He was acting mean. When his friend was saying something mean he would agree. Then he was laughing at me. I felt insulted and the next day I didn't felt like talking to him. I wanted to be friends with him for my reputation and finally get accepted. But know he is acting mean and weird.. he looks at me weird.. and it is very awkward :( I need help.. I want friend and start to live my teenage life. I don't deserve this at all.. neither does any body.

Well good, you've already stated it: you don't deserve this. Just because he's popular doesn't mean he can make you feel inferior.

I think you shouldn't bother yourself with him any longer. Are you a part of any extra curricular sports or activities? High school can be clicky; finding something you're interested in and investing your time in that will not only help you make friends, but friends you have a real connection with.

If the only benefit someone brings to you is their popularity-that's no benefit at all. That's an artificial connection that (as you're experiencing) will leave you feeling burned.

I am a guy.. I am not gay I just do not like that much sports and my school is little and there is not a lot of activity's. And I fell *** if people don't like me. He was acting weird around when there was people but why. Is it because he is not certain of his own popularity.

It definitely doesn't make a person homosexual to dislike sports, even as a guy. Don't let any opinions of your peers let you think otherwise!

It doesn't have to be a sport; it could be acting, painting, photography, student government, debate, forensics, mechanics, youth group etc. What piques your interest?

It would be difficult for me or anyone who doesn't know your "friend" to decipher why he acts that way. He could be insecure (a lot of teens are), or not very nice of a person, or any number of things. I know it's really rough when you realize some people don't like you, and sensitive people struggle with that into adulthood. At some point, you will learn that you just can't please everyone-and to those that don't like you, cut your losses!
